RESIDENT EVIL 2 REMAKE

Is someone following you? IF Resident Evil 2 was your favorite game: odds are: yes. you’re probably also suffering from some kind of identity crisis, not sure which body you want to fit in. Always hunted down by the specter of masculinity, always running out of ammunition.

MORTAL KOMBAT 11 

The fact that you played this at all is proof that at least one of us will be permanently stuck in our ways. How long and how hard did you fight at the end, just to try and keep things the same way they’ve always been? I don’t want to confront you about your fear of letting go, but…it’s probably time. You can get over this: no amount of Kombat will bring her back. I’m sorry.

Nothing you made the first time around lasted. All of the monuments you build will crumble: testaments to your own hubris. You play god in this realm, controlling the fates of others. All under the guise of community. You will look back on this time one day and wonder if all of the pain you’ve caused has been worth it to make a completely fucking sick choose-your-own-adventure level in Mario.

SEKIRO: SHADOWS DIE TWICE

Above all else, a consistent refusal to not take the most dangerous path in life constantly endangers you. You’ll be re-born, constantly re-inventing yourself until the day you finally don’t get back up. Will it be your own setbacks? Betrayed by someone close to you? Or will you more likely be undone by something as simple as not taking an obviously easier path you’re prepared for?

DEVIL MAY CRY V

Let’s not beat around the bush: You don’t do it because you’re actually ever late, but keeping close friends waiting on you until the last minute really gets you off. I’ve got bad news though: the reason for all of your problems is probably one of those close friends, and only they know it. You might actually be the dead weight of the friend group, off having a completely different combo system and never having anyone to talk to about it.

APE OUT

Something inside hungers to release your true destructive nature. Don’t try to resist it any longer than you have to: when it finally happens, there will just be a stunned crowd of onlookers. Try not to hurt any of your closest friends when it finally happens. Only smooth jazz can sooth the choppy waters of your soul.

THE OUTER WILDS

A crew of rag-tag misfits led chiefly by someone who’s got no experience. We’re hoping that you’re self aware enough to not lead all of them to certain doom. Hard moral choices are a part of your daily life, usually presented vis-a-vis in the form of strict dialogue options that read like good television. At the end of the day it could all be worth it – or you could end up shooting someone close to you.
